Our friend Alex Adams pulls up on Canada Hoops! Alex sits down with your boy Matty to talk about the SMNT for Canada Basketball. Alex lets us know how he started to cover and write about sports and his eventual journey going to the 2023 FIBA WORLD CUP in Jakarta, Indonesia, to cover the SMNT historic run. Alex gives us his favourite moments from the tournament, touches on new friendships and relationships and tells us how surreal it was to soak in the SMNT success at the FIBA WC.
Alex and Matty discuss the SMNT roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics: who might be a needed addition, will the Program try to stick to the Core 14 and the WC roster; and we answer some questions asked by Scott Witter, Jonathan Chen and others.
